Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Queens Crossing and Crossing Art hosted its annual holiday lighting ceremony Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. In the Queens Crossing Outdoor Plaza, at 136-17 39th Ave., live music and performances took over the shops for the Constellation de la Granda Danse public art installation.

The restaurants at Queens Crossing and One Fulton Square teamed up with Asians in America – AiA organization and New York City councilman Peter Koo to deliver meals to those on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. There were over 1,200 meals prepared by participating restaurants delivering to Flushing Hospital Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Queens and the local fire ad police departments.
Jewelry DIY Workshop

One Fulton Square and Queens Crossing at Downtown Flushing kicked off the summer season in 2019 together by the “Summer Fun Fridays”. The event series included music concert, outdoor movie, croquis night and DIY workshops held at both locations. At the Jewelry DIY Workshop, participants learned to make their own personalized pendant necklace or pet collar in sterling silver with metalsmithing techniques guided by jewelry designer Jing Lin from Jeweltopia.
Croquis Night

One Fulton Square and Queens Crossing at Downtown Flushing kicked off the summer season in 2019 together by the “Summer Fun Fridays”. The event series included music concert, outdoor movie, croquis night and DIY workshops held at both locations. At the Croquis Night, participants created their very own croquis drawing with music and drinks instructed by artist Jason Lee who has been featured on GQ, Daze and W Magazine for his recent “Supreme Walk” project.
Influencers’ Party

The Summer Purple Party was held at Queens Crossing Food Court to celebrate the opening of Taiyaki NYC’s Pop-up store. Influencers, press and foodie bloggers were invited to the event and enjoyed the “one-day-only” Queens Crossing purple unicorn Taiyaki ice cream with the limited edition purple taro slush. Immersive bubble balloon pool with giant unicorn float was also made at the food court for the “Instagrammable” photos.
Hoppy Easter

A family-friendly event with Easter egg painting, photo with the Easter bunny and special live performance by AKF Dance Studio. Winners of the egg painting competition received special prizes!
Paint Night

Queens Crossing Mall and Crossing Art partnered together to create a super-fun paint night event. Participants were instructed by Crossing Art artist, Jason Lee, to create their very own masterpiece, “Self-Portrait”, with live music and energetic vibes. Hochul (Jason) Lee is a mixed media artist. His art is inspired by human behavior and interaction reflecting on his experiences of growing up in the rural South Korean town of Masan juxtaposed with current events, pop culture, politics and religion. He earned a BFA from Hongik University in Printmaking in 2006. He is known for his use of unique medium such as his 2008 Obama portrait composed entirely of human hair. Lee currently resides in New York City.
Live Cooking Demo

Live Cooking Demo was a super fun event to pique participants’ culinary curiosity with chefs Neil & Carson, contestants from Food Network’s Cooks Vs. Cons. Participants learned how to prepare Chicken Adobo, a staple Filipino dish and healthy Asian cuisine during the demo and enjoyed a special dinner prepared by the chefs.
Yelp Elite Party

Queens Crossing celebrated the 1st anniversary of the new Food Court with live DJ, fun photo booth and food sampling from Ok Lah, Curry Bo, Young Street Poke, Happy Lemon, Kung Fu Tea and Paris Baguette. Active Yelp Elite members were invited to the party and shared their dining experiences at the Food Court.
Halloween Adventure

Halloween Adventure is one of the most exciting events for families held by Queens Crossing. Every year, more than 200 kids and parents participated in this event with lots of super-fun activities such as face painting, trick-or-treat stamping game, pumpkin decorating, scary photo booth and the most anticipated Halloween costume runway competition.
